Greg Douglass, guitarist with The Steve Miller Band, is touring the U.K with a top class U.K band. His last appearance here was so well received we're delighted that he will be playing TWO nights "back to back" for us this year, his ONLY gigs in Scotland! This will be a night of classic Steve Miller music - and more! The Steve Miller Band‘s “Greatest Hits 1974–78“ - featuring Greg Douglass- has sold over THIRTEEN MILLION copies, and in 2016, Greg and the rest of the band were inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Columbus, Ohio. Formed in 1966 in San Francisco, California their string of hit singles include “The Joker”, “Fly Like An Eagle”, “Jungle Love” (co-written by Greg), “Abracadabra” and “Rock ‘n’ Me” - all staples of classic rock . The Steve Miller Band have released 18 studio albums, 7 live albums, 7 compilation albums, and at least 29 singles. Greg was also a former member of the Jefferson Airplane offshoot Hot Tuna, Big Brother & The Holding Company (Janis Joplin’s band) and Van Morrison's band. As a member of The Greg Kihn Band he played on their number 1 U.S hit "Jeopardy". Unbelievably, Greg has played and recorded with many other legendary musicians, including Bo Diddley. In fact, he's has appeared on at least 60 albums! This is NOT a show to be missed!!!!!
