Greg's house in now in escrow and he'll soon be going to Oregon .What better way to say goodbye to his neighbors, friends, and fans of his music than to have a kickass concert in Del Dios, the town he once described as "Mayberry on acid"? Greg & his astonishing band, The Sidewinders, will be playing an eclectic assortment of music that everybody loves. There will be a huge portion of the Steve Miller catalog being played ( Greg, of course, worked with Steve and co-wrote "Jungle Love"...but you knew that) plus homages to great guitar players; Jeff Beck, Peter Green, slide guitar king Sonny Landreth...and much more. The band: drummer/vocalist Hector Toro, the incredible JD Pinckney on bass, Jesus Guillermoprieto on lead vocals, and our newest member, Karen "KT" Trapane on lead and backing vocals, are absolutely first rate. (Also guesting will be Caroline Martin & Bob Garrett, Greg's bandmates from The Fabulous Pelicans. ) Greg will be moving soon but he's going to miss this area terribly. Sharing his music with his friends & neighbors would be a celebration of the best 17 years of his life living at Lake Hodges. and being a part of a remarkable community.
