THIS SHOW IS OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT!!!!! Remember the old days of musical bragging rights...you know, seeing a great band for the first time? Well, it ain't the Sixties anymore but that killer level of energy will be recreated by Greg Douglass and the Sidewinders at the coolest venue in North County, the Old Del Dios Firehouse at Lake Hodges. The band's set list is crammed with bluesy tunes from bands like Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and even some groups from Greg's resume'; Paul Butterfield, Eddie Money, Greg Kihn and...of course...lots of Steve Miller. Seating will be limited to somewhere between 40 to 50 people. The back roll-up doors will be open so there will be a cross breeze. It's a very safe room. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. (Scroll down on the home page of Greg's website to "Upcoming Events", click on June 5 event, and ticket purchase will be easy to read.) The band consists of some of the best players in the area: Hector Toro (drums & vocals), the incredible JD Pinckney (bass), Mark Knoll (keyboards and vocals), Jesus Guillermoprieto (or Jesus G) on lead vocals and rhythm guitar) and Del Dios denizen Greg Douglass on lead guitar and vocals who, at the age of 71, decided to go out kicking ass in a blaze of glory.
