Landings Carlsbad Airport, 2198 Palomar Airport Road #100, Carlsbad, CA 92011

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, this show has been postponed until a later date.Seven years ago, we tip-toed into this marvelous restaurant/club next to the Palomar Airport. We were a brand-new band, untried, brand new, and within a couple of months word got out that something was happening at Landings that should not be missed. The place was packed and a seat could not be found unless you got there early . Well; it's now The Roaring Twenties and we're still packing them in at our favorite speakeasy. Our set list is the best classic rock imaginable, put together in new & astonishing ways. Greg, the guitarist and band namesake, is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has 4 platinum albums, (thank you Steve Miller), and 12 million units sold under his belt. Greg's name may be on the marquee but the whole band kills it! Come on down; 6:30-9:30 PM. And bring the kids.; they won't know what hit 'em!

Cafe 21 Gaslamp, 802 Fifth Ave, San Diego CA

*SHOW CANCELLED FOR REASONS THAT SHOULD OBVIOUS TO ALL OF US. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT FUN BUT....WE NEED TO KEEP OUR FRIENDS AND AN AUDIENCE FROM ALL AROUND THE WORLD SAFE. ROSE AND I SEND OUR LOVE. A rare case of something cool arising from something....not so cool. Like, for instance, that dang Covid virus. The band rallied and will be playing with a quartet consisting of bassist Jakob Miranda, percussionist Kimo Shimm, guest singer Wild Rose from the Greg Douglass Band and Greg Douglass, the "ex-Steve Miller guy" on lead and acoustic guitar. Let's all practice safe social distancing, enjoy the healthiest food in San Diego, and experience some joy amongst the necessary cautions.

Coyote Bar & Grill Carlsbad, 300 Carlsbad Village Dr # 114 , Carlsbad CA

The restaurant, the bar, the hip hang-out, and the place I met my wife 25 years ago; yes, it could only be the Coyote, with its fire pits to warm your outsides and great food and confidently-poured drinks to warm your insides. Of course, the Greg Douglass Band will warm your soul (and your booty, if you decide to put on your dancing shoes) with their astonishing presentation of the musical soundtrack of your life. (The band's namesake, Greg Douglass, was an original member of the Steve Miller Band, co-wrote "Jungle Love", and will be available between sets to answer questions about life on the road during the late 1970s. Some names will be changed to protect the innocent.) See you there!

The Pettybreakers+Pompatus of Love w/Greg Douglass

 —  —

Belly Up Tavern, 143 S Cedros Ave, Solana Beach, CA 92075

We opened for the Pettybreakers at the Belly Up before and it was a killer show. They've got their act honed to perfection which means my band, The Pompatus of Love, has to work our asses off, which means the audience...usually a sell-out...gets a bitchin' show. Guitarist/bandleader Greg Douglass was and original member of the Miller band during their peak during the mid-to-late Seventies, co-wrote & played guitar on the hit "Jungle Love" and knows the Miller classics inside and out. If you grew up with the music of these two bands, you're going to have one hell of an evening. Get your tickets now: it's sure to sell out!

Greg Douglass Band-NEW YEAR'S EVE BLAST!

 —  —

Harry's Sports Bar & Grill, 125 S. Main Avenue, Fallbrook, CA 92028

Last year, we had an EPIC New Year's Eve show at Harry's in Fallbrook. The band put out more energy than a perpetual motion machine on Adderal. Some audience members took days to recover (reportedly, one particularly enthusiastic audience member will be recovered just in time for this year's celebration, thanks to its of therapy.) Seriously: this is THE show to be at this year when it's time to buy a new day planner. We are going to stun you with the sheer force and power of our collective energy. OK, OK, Greg has 4 platinum albums and an honorary membership to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but the rest of the band...Wild Rose (Vocals), Hector Toro (Drums & Vocals) and the hardest working man in show business, Joe Hastings (vocals & bass) will push Greg into coronary territory. Cancel those plans to hear those other weeny bands and be bowled over by the sheer force and experience : almost 200 years of collective blood, sweat and overcoming the odds with the coolest Classic Rock band around! Oh...and Harry's is an experience not soon to be forgotten.

Greg Douglass-Solo Guitar

 —  —

Hilltop Center for Spiritual Living , 331 East Elder Street , Fallbrook, CA 92028

Fallbrook has become a musical hub and nothing makes a spiritual celebration better than sounds shared by a roomful of people. I'm honored to have been asked by the Hilltop Center to share my vision of the the guitar, the instrument that has defined my life. People think of me as a rock and roll musician but my first love has always been finger style acoustic. (I've opened up on tours with Leo Kottke, David Lindley, John Hammond Jr., and Dave Mason as a soloist .) Come join me on Sunday, 12/22/19 as I rekindle my love of the instrument that kissed me on the cheek one day at the music store and whispered, "Take me home, big boy.I'm all yours." It's been a love affair for 50+ years now.

Greg & Rose 2019 Holiday House Concert

 —  —

The Harmony House, 19345 3rd St., Escondido, CA 92029

Once a year, Rose and Greg from the Greg Douglass Band hang up their rock'n'roll duds and go all yuletide on their friends and fans. It's intimate, warm, heartwarming and ....quite often....funny as hell. Last year's crowd said, "Now, THAT was the best holiday show you guys ever did!" Wrong; this year we'll be older, wiser, and as wild as our creaky joints will allow.

The Greg Douglass Band, led by a member of a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, has never sounded better than when they play this old-school, warm-sounding room. Come relax and listen to music like the big kids do. Great food, too. This place is run by guys with years of experience and it shows with every detail.
