CHECK OUT http://www.pretendingchrissie.com for details.********** Wild Rose and Greg Douglass had a wonderful 7-year run as The Greg Douglass Band...that's a LONG time in the music business...and are now having a pleasant reunion at one of North County's nicest venues. Rose kills it as a visual and musical doppelganger for Chrissie Hynde, backed by a killer band. She's living the dream and so is Greg. Their parting was amicable and I'm glad to see us both happy. I'm also stoked to the gills to be sharing stage with her again. I'll be doing my fingerstyle acoustic set, including some Leo Kottke, a little John Fahey and doing what made me fall in love with the guitar many decades ago. (I also have two electric projects but...this is about my pal Rose and I.) I'll be putting down my acoustic but there MAY be a couple of surprises later on in the evening. My lips are sealed but...I'll let my fingers do the talking! See ya there, Rose, and if you liked us as a duo during those seven magic years...or like us for what we're doing now...it would be regrettable for you to miss this amazing show.
