Two of the greatest tribute band on the planet will be playing at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach on December 1, 9-12. The Pettybreakers are a killer homage to the late, great Tom Petty. Opening the show will be The Pompatus of Love, THE greatest Steve Miller Tribute Band in the world. The Pompatus features original Miller band member Greg Douglass on lead guitar. Greg co-wrote the mega-hit "Jungle Love" and is a 2016 inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There's no guesswork here: Greg was taught all the guitar parts by Miller himself. The rest of the band is a stunning bunch of pros: Jesus Guillermoprieto on vocals & rhythm guitar, Hector Toro on drums & vocals, Mark Knoll on keyboards and vocals, James East on bass & vocals, and background vocals by the Pompettes, Wild Rose & Karen "K.T." Trapane. Prepare to be astonished!
