By George! What a show! The music of George Harrison by the By George! Band. A seated show, for grown-ups and immature reprobates alike. (I'll be there, after all.) Special guests include rockabilly guitar monster Buzz Campbell, Jocko Marcellino of Sha-Na-Na fame and yours truly. I sat in with these guys last year and it was thremonucelar. I'm driving 2,000 miles round-trip for this so don't you dare miss it!

My holiday CD has sold thousands of copies over the years and has become a personal favorite of many people as well. I've been spending a big chunk of my time arranging new ways to interpret those classic tunes and it's become a tradition for me to celebrate my favorite holiday by sharing that hard work with the public. There'll be the usual expected offerings plus a stuffed stocking full of surprises. I'll be spinning my Ghosts of Christmas Past yarns as well so expect to be educated and, hopefully, entertained. Breathtaking venue on the gorgeous Isle of Wight. Dimbola was the home of the celebrated Victorian photographer Julia Margaret Cameron. It is now a museum and galleries dedicated to her life and work, which also showcases contemporary exhibitions from photographers around the globe. We played here last year to a sold-out crowd of sophisticated music lovers and we're looking forward to another wonderful evening in this 19th century Victorian mansion. This Sunday, September 3rd, I will have the tremendous pleasure of sharing a stage with a gentleman who was a huge influence on my guitar playing and, indeed, my approach to music in general. I was a massive fan of Country Joe & the Fish and I will be hanging out with you and the amazing Barry "The Fish" Melton. Barry is a dear friend, an amazing human being and one hell of a musician/songwriter. Some down to Arcata Main Street and watch 100+ years of San Francisco Bay Area history still sucking air and breathing fire. Expect a plethora of great music and, yes, probably some terrible jokes. Come on! It's Humboldt County! Make sure that you bring enough...whatever...to share with the rest of your brethren in Hippie Central. Expect the unexpected. It's going to be f**king great!!!!!

The Pompatus of Love, arguably the best Steve Miller "tribute" band in the world (Greg Douglass, original Miller guitarist and co-author of "Jungle Love") is a member, so...you say to-MAY-to, I say to-MAH-to...the music will be played pretty close to the original exacting specifications adhered to by Greg's former boss and current friend, Steve Miller. Desperado is absolutely amazing; great vocals, instrumental parts perfecto! If you are a classic rock fan...and who isn't?...get your tickets immediately. The show is sure to be a sellout.
