Like guitar? Feast on a variety of six string sounds from three veterans of the San Francisco music scene. Terry Haggerty was the guitarist for the legendary Sons of Champlin and is a bottomless well of formidable chops and extraordinary musical ideas. He has been called "The best unknown guitarist in the world" and that is no exaggeration. Darby Slick wrote the hit song "Somebody to Love" while working with his sister-in-law Grace Slick in the band the Great Society. It went on to become a huge hit for the Jefferson Airplane and has become an iconic representation of the Sixties socio-musical explosion. Slick is now a leading proponent of East Indian influenced sounds played on fretless guitar. Amazing, groundbreaking stuff! Greg Douglass is the former guitarist with the Steve Miller Band (co-author of "Jungle Love"), Van Morrison, Greg Kihn, and many others. He recently became an honorary member of the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame. It's going to be a grand evening of eclectic sounds played by three high-mile hotshots. Do not, I repeat, do not miss this sure-to-be-a-sellout show!
